Preliminary studies found that 26.7% of children had language development delays. Language development is influenced by the stimulus given by the closest people around kids. In early childhood aged 5-6 years, the stages of language development can be observed from fluency when children speak, whether the child can already speak fluently or not, as well as when communicating verbally, The words conveyed are also more complex. But for children with delay, specificity is needed in carrying out stimulation, one of which is through storytelling media. This Community Service aims to apply the storytelling method to overcome the problem of speech delay in toddler-age children. This study aims to see the influence of the storytelling method on the language development of toddler-age children. This activity was carried out on 113 client who is teacher or parent of the kids. The results of research conducted in three research locations using the storytelling method in developing language skills for preschool-age children can make children more interested in learning. The storytelling learning method can be used as an alternative to be applied to improve language development at an early age, especially for those aged 2-4 years. It needs to be balanced with increasing storytelling skills and utilization of teaching tools for parents</p> 2023-10-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Delima Delima, Suhaimi Suhaimi, Herwati Herwati, Asep Irfan
